Jade Stone Massage
Jade Stone Massage incorporates heated or cooled Jade
Stones that are placed on the body used for massage.
These stones have been cut to various shapes and sizes,
which are ergonomically correct, and then polished
providing a very smooth and silky feeling on the skin.
Traditionally, Jade has been used to attract love and
bring money into your life. Jade is a protective stone
which guards against accidents and misfortune. Jade is
believed to heal stressed organs and discharge toxins.
It slows the process of cell aging and strengthens the
body¿s natural defenses and healing power. The soothing
green colour of Jade helps the body to self-heal.
The Jade stones are used in two ways during the massage.
One is to impart heat onto the body by laying stones under,
or on top of the client with a sheet between the client and
stone. Stone layout typically will be along both sides of
the spine, or along the chakra centers on top with baseball
sized stones placed in the hands. While these layout stones
are delivering concentrated centers of heat, the therapist
is simultaneously massaging the client with oiled, heated
stones held in the palm of the hand with firm strokes
along the muscles of the legs, arms, and torso areas.
